Lesson 3 — Consistency: Products and Faces

One great image is a party trick. The same face and the same bottle across twelve frames is a business.

You cannot describe your way to product fidelity. Words never fully pin down a real object. Upload three to five clean reference angles on a plain background and let the model see the thing instead of guessing at it.

For a recurring spokesperson, feed the model two or three shots of the same face at different angles. Gemini image tools and gpt-image hold identity well across turns. Midjourney does it with a character reference parameter.

Here is the trap that ruins sets. A face lock constrains identity, not clothing. Her jacket, her hair and her earrings are still free variables. Restate the full wardrobe line in every single prompt, or the set will drift.

A seed is the starting noise. Hold the seed fixed and change one word, and you isolate exactly what that word did. Change the seed and you get a fresh roll. Log the winning seed beside the winning prompt or you lose it forever.

Customers receive the real box. If the generated label warps or invents a word, that is a returns problem and a trust problem. Mask the label region and composite the real artwork back in. Never ship an invented package.

Put it all in one file. Reference images, winning seeds, the wardrobe line, the house lighting recipe, the approved ratios. That document is the real asset. Any single image is disposable. The system that reproduces it is not.
