Some links on this site and inside our courses may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Sometimes it gets you a discount.

What a commission does not buy

It does not buy a recommendation. We reference the tools we would use anyway, and where a free or cheaper tool does the job just as well, we say so — including when the cheaper tool pays us nothing. If a tool we recommend gets worse, we will say that too.

Where you will see this

Where an affiliate link appears in a lesson or on a page, it is disclosed at the point of the link, not merely buried down here. This page is the backstop, not the disclosure.
